I started making and selling bags 15 years ago because I love creating: from concept to finished product. As an architect and designer I have the opportunity to design but don’t get to physically take part in the making. Designing and making bags has allowed me to incorporate many of my interests and hobbies, from welded metal sculpture to jewelry making, the creation of these bags utilizes many of the skills I have acquired over the years.
I carry one of my bags with me every day. I hope you will find them as useful and aesthetically pleasing as I do.
Each bag is made in the jungle of Hawai‘i using no electricity!

FAQs
Where can I see your purses in person?
If you are on the island of Kauai visit Oskar's boutique, they have great clothes too.
How much is shipping?
Free shipping with all purchases.
How are your purses made?
I hand cut pieces out of a leather hide, punch each hole and rivet the bags together on my anvil. Each style is an original design named after the first person that purchased that particular style.
Can I clean my bag?
Yes, you can use Saddle soap to clena your bag and there are many different leather conditioners. I have had good luck with Bee Natural and Lexol Products, to care for your bag. You should be able to find these products at your local shoe repair store.
Why does the leather have marks in the surface?
Because leather is a natural product there are imperfections in the surface. The scars, scratches and wrinkles are natural marks and characteristics of leather.
Do you sell your products wholesale?
Yes, I sell wholesale to carefully selected retail outlets. Please Email me if you are interested in selling my handbags, include your resale tax ID number in your email, and I will get back to you with more information.
Do you have more colors than shown on your website?
I am currently in the process of using up the last of the remnant leather I have and am going to start hand dying the leather with organic products I can gather, pick and barter for here on the island. Stay tuned for the new colors.
Can I get a small sample of the leather color before ordering?
Yes, let me know which color you are interested in and I will send a small color swatch for review.

all items are treated with Obenauf's to protect and condition your purchase. Sometimes some wax isn't completely soaked in upon arrival, just give a quick rub and it will work into the leather.
